About the YDM English Teacher Certificate
To obtain the YDM English Teacher Certificate, the following fees are charged
1. Tuition fee for YDM English teacher training course (beginner's practical course): 132,000 yen
2. English textbook: 1 volume - 2,619 yen; total 4 volumes - 10,476 yen
3. English textbook exercises Volumes 1 to 5: 3,000 yen / volume; total 4 volumes - 12,000 yen
4. Registration with YDM - 10,000 yen
* Regarding points 1 and 2 above, the fee is paid after applying for the course and before the class starts.
Please note that refunds cannot be made after taking the YDM course.
* The prescribed (NPO) YDM Association registration fee (1,000 yen) and the annual membership fee (6,000 yen) are charged separately.
After completing the YDM English Teaching Method Basic Practical Course and registering with the (NPO) YDM Association, the new teacher will be registered with YDM Language International Inc. (YDM).
After completing the YDM English Teacher Training - the Elementary Grammar Course, the new teacher will be registered with YDM as a YDM English teacher. Thereafter, they will be able to teach English as an authorized YDM English teacher.
* Those who have completed the course will be able to teach English only as part of (NPO) YDM Association.
However, YDM Language International Inc. does not guarantee introducing new students or postions as English teachers.

The following costs are required to get the YDM Japanese Teacher Certificate:
1. YDM Japanese teacher training course (beginner practical course) tuition: 132,000 yen
2. Japanese textbook 1 volume 2,619 yen 7 volumes total: 18,333円
3. Japanese textbook exercises - Volumes 1 to 5： 3,000JPY/textbook, total 15,000 yen
4. Registration with YDM: 10,000円
5. YDM Japanese teacher training course (beginner grammar course): 11,000 yen
6. A (NPO) YDM association registration fee (1,000 yen) and an annual membership fee (6,000 yen) will be charged.
7. New words list - 5 books: 5,000 yen
After completing the YDM Japanese Teaching Method Beginner Practical Course and registering with the (NPO) YDM Association, the teacher is required to complete the submission of exercises and other assignments. Then they are registered with YDM Language International Inc.
* YDM Language International Inc. allows certified teachers to teach Japanese to foreigners only in the context of the activities of the (NPO) YDM Association after completion of the course. However, we cannot guarantee that there will be students willing to enrol in a particular teacher's Japanese course.
* Please note that the above fees 1~6 must be paid after enrollment and before the start of the class.
