The Yokoyama Direct Method (YDM) is a Japanese teaching method developed by Nobuko Yokoyama, who taught at Cornell University over 13 years, using pictures, figures, and numbers that are common to all countries. , Anywhere, anyone can teach Japanese only in Japanese. The purpose is to master the "speaking" area of beginner Japanese accurately in a short period of time for complete beginners.

The textbook is structured so that you can understand Japanese sentence patterns visually through learning in the form of "questioning" and "answering" using abundant pictures, and you can learn Japanese that lives naturally through cumulative learning. increase. Those registered with (NPO) YDM Association, are able to attend study seminars on YDM teaching methods.

After completing the YDM Japanese Teaching Method Practice and YDM Japanese Teaching Method Grammar, and passing the YDM Teaching Method Registration Examination, the new teacher is registered with YDM International Language Inc. as a YDM Japanese Teacher.
